اگست ⇐آم لوکاٹ اور امرود کے پودوں کی بغلگیر پیوند کے طریقہ سے اس ماہ افزائش نسل کرتے ہیں۔ مالٹا سنگترہ ، گریپ فروٹ اور میٹھا وغیرہ کے پودوں پر ٹی نما چشمہ چڑھاتے ہیں۔ کاغذی لیموں ،یور پین، لیمن ، چنبیلی جیسے پودوں کی د اب لگائیں۔ سٹرس خاندان کے سٹاک مثلاً جٹی کھڑی جالندھری کھٹی کھرنا کھٹا کا بین کھیلیوں پر بوئیں۔ کھیلیاں5 تا 6 فٹ لمی اور ڈھائی تا تین فٹ چوڑی اورنوانچ تا یک فٹ اونچی ہوں ۔
Storage
August Mango, loquat and guava plants are propagated this month by grafting. T-shaped grafting is done on the plants of Malta, orange, grapefruit and sweet etc. Apply pressure on plants like paper lemon, euro pan, lemon, chambeli. Sow stocks of citrus family like jati khari, jalandhari, khati kharna, khata ka ben on the beds. The beds should be 5 to 6 feet long and 2.5 to 3 feet wide and 9 to 1 foot high.

آم اور بیر کے ان دیسی پودوں پر اعلیٰ اقسام کاٹی چشمہ چڑھائیں۔ جنہیں جنوری، فروری میں چوٹی تبدیل کرنے کی غرض سے کاٹا گیا ہو۔ آخر اگست میں آم کی اعلیٰ اقسام کے پیوندی پودوں کی لکڑی تیار کریں جو ستمبرمیں موقع پر چشمہ چڑھانے کے کام آسکے۔

سدا بہار پودوں مثلاً مالٹا سنگترہ ، آم اور امرود ، لوکاٹ وغیرہ کو کھیت میں تبدیل کریں۔ پھلدار کمزورپودوں خصوصاً آم سنگترہ و کو ایمونیم سلفیٹ (2 تا 3 پونڈ فی پودا) اور دیسی کھاد 20 سیر تا 25 سیر فی پودا دیں۔
Gardening
Change evergreen plants like Malta orange, mango and guava, loquat etc. to the field. Give weak fruit bearing plants especially mango and orange with ammonium sulphate (2 to 3 lbs per plant) and indigenous fertilizer 20 to 25 cc per plant.

گوارہ کی فصل بطور سبز کھا د پندرہ اگست سے پیشتر زمین میں دبا دینی چاہیے اس طرح حکومت کی طرف سے آبیانہ معاف کر دیا جاتا ہے تا کہ کاشتکاروں میں سبز کھاد دبانے کا شوق پیدا ہو۔
Guwara crop

سٹرس خاندان اور بیر کے پودوں پر ٹی نما چشمہ چڑھائیں ۔ آم کی ان سٹاک کی شاخوں پر سے چھلکا اتاریں جن پر ماہ اگست میں موقع پر چشمہ چڑھایا گیا تھا۔

جٹی کھٹی کا بیچ
سٹرس سٹاک کے چھوٹے پودوں کو جن کی عمر چھ ماہ ہوگئی ہو کھیلیوں سے اکھاڑ کر کیاریوں میں تبدیل کریں۔ قطار سے قطار کا فاصلہ افٹ تا 2 فٹ اور پودے سے پودا 9 انچ سے 1 فٹ تک ہو۔ سٹرس سٹاک یعنی جٹی کھٹی کا بیچ کھیلیوں پر ہوئیں۔ کھجور کے ، بچے جڑواں یا سکروالدین سے جدا کر کے نرسری میں لگائیں ۔ جب چند ماہ کے بعد یہ پودے جڑ پکڑ لیں تو کھیت میں لگایا جائے۔
Jutti Khatti Ka Bech
Young citrus stock plants which are six months old should be uprooted from the beds and turned into seedlings. The row-to-row distance should be 1 to 2 feet and the plant-to-plant distance should be 9 inches to 1 foot. Citrus stock i.e. jutti khatti ka bech is grown on beds. Date palm, baby date palms should be separated from twin or scion and planted in the nursery. After a few months, when these plants take root, they should be planted in the field.

Gardening
Cultivate betel nut, fenugreek, etc. as green manure. Growing leguminous crops in the garden is also useful for fodder. These crops help in increasing the amount of nitrogen in the soil.

برسیم بطور سبز کھا دفروری یا مارچ میں زمین کے اندر دبائی جاسکتی ہے باغ کے اندر وسط ستمبر میں آلو کی فصل بھی کاشت کی جاسکتی ہے لیکن اس فصل کے لیے دیسی یا گو بر کھاد 30 سے 40 گڑے فی ایکڑ کے حساب سے ڈالنی ضروری ہے تا کہ پھل دار پودوں کی صحت پر بُرا اثر نہ پڑے۔
Barseem as a green manure

سٹرس سٹاک کے پودوں کو خصوصاً گرم اور شہری علاقوں میں کیاریوں میں تبدیل کریں۔ سٹرابیری کے چھوٹے پودے لگا ئیں ۔ سٹرا بیری پہاڑی علاقوں میں زیادہ کامیاب ہے۔ دیسی آڑو کے بیج ایک گڑھے یعنی 2 ضرب 2 ضرب 2 فٹ میں دبا دیں اس طریقے سے باہر کا سخت چھلکا نرم ہو جائے گا اور دسمبر جنوری تک بیج اگنے میں آسانی رہے گی۔

Storage:
Replace citrus stock plants with nursery stock, especially in hot and urban areas. Plant small strawberry plants. Strawberries are more successful in hilly areas. Press the seeds of native peaches into a pit, i.e. 2 x 2 x 2 feet. This will soften the hard outer skin and make it easier for the seeds to germinate by December-January.

Layers of peat and sand
