مشاہداتی طریقہ

نفسیات میں مشاہداتی طریقہ دو طرح سے استعمال میں لایا جاتا ہے۔ ایک مشاہدہ تو وہ ہوتا ہے جس میں مشاہدہ کرنے وال خود اپنی محسوسات اور ذہنی واردات کی نوعیت کو سمجھنےکی کوشش کرتا ہے۔

Observational Method

The observational method is used in psychology in two ways. One is observation, in which the observer himself tries to understand the nature of his own feelings and mental events.

ذاتی رجحانات

اس قسم کے مشاہدے کو مشاہدہ باطن کا نام دیا جاتا ہے۔ اس کی مدد سے ایک فرد کو اپنے ذاتی رجحانات اور رویے سے اولین آگاہی حاصل ہوتی ہے اور ساتھ ہی ساتھ دوسرے انسانوں کے اذہان تک رسائی حاصل کرنے کا راستہ اس کیلئے ہموار ہو جاتا ہے۔

مشاہدے کا دوسرا انداز معروضی یا خارجی مشاہدہ کہلاتا ہے۔ اس میں دوسرے افراد کے رویوں رجحانات اور رو عمل کو مشاہدے میں لایا جاتا ہے۔ جب کوئی فرد کسی خاص قسم کے حالات و ماحول اور تجربے سے گزر رہا ہوتا ہے تو اس کی حرکات و سکنات کا بغور مطالعہ کیا جاتا ہے۔ معروضی مشاہدے کیلئے طویل تجربے اور تربیت کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔

Close study of movements and postures
