سٹاک کا انتخاب اور تیاری ⇐ تر شاده خاندان کے پودوں میں عموماً سٹاک کے پودوں کی عمر ایک سال سے ڈیڑھ سال تک ہونی چاہیے۔ نیز سٹاک صحت مند اور صحیح قد کا عموما پنسل کی موٹائی یا تقریبا ایک سے ڈیڑھ انچ تک ہونا چاہیے ان پودوں میں رس اچھی طرح چل رہا ہو۔ اس مقصد کو حاصل کرنے کے لیے سٹاک کے پودوں کو پیوند کرنے سے دو تین ہفتے پیشتر با قاعدگی سے پانی دینا چاہیے اور تھوڑی بہت مصنوعی کھاد بھی دینا مفید ہے۔

Stock selection and preparation In the plants of the family of succulents, the age of the stock plants should generally be one to one and a half years. Also, the stock should be healthy and of the right height, usually the thickness of a pencil or about one to one and a half inches, and the sap should be flowing well in these plants. پیوندی لکڑی اعلی قسم کے پودوں سے منتخب کرنی چاہیے۔ ایسے پودوں کے پھل کی خاصیت اور اس کی اوسط پیداوار نباتاتی بڑھوتری، کیڑوں اور بیماریوں کے حملہ سے بچاؤ صحت اور نشو و نما جیسے امور کا پورا علم ہونا ضروری ہے عموماً چھ ماہ سے ایک سال عمر کی پختہ گول پیوندی لکڑی زیادہ موزوں رہتی ہے۔  سٹرس خاندان میں پختہ گول پیوندی لکڑی پر سفید دھاریاں نمایاں ہوتی ہیں۔

Selection of graft wood

The graft wood should be selected from high quality plants. It is necessary to have a complete knowledge of the fruit characteristics of such plants and their average yield, vegetative growth, protection from pests and diseases, health and development. Generally, mature round graft wood of six months to one year old is more suitable. In the citrus family, white stripes are prominent on mature round graft wood.

چاقو اچھی قسم کا اور تیز ہونا چاہیے۔ مو می فیتہ سن بوری کا ٹکڑا، ربڑ یا چھلا ، شاخ تراشی کی قینچی ۔ یہ تمام سامان پہلے مہیا کرنا چاہیے۔

Special knife for grafting and other necessary equipment

The knife should be of good quality and sharp. Waxed tape, a piece of cotton sack, rubber or rubber band, pruning shears. All these equipment should be provided in advance.

موسم بہار

فروری اور مارچ، موسم بہار میں زیادہ کامیابی حاصل ہوتی ہے۔ نہری علاقوں میں آخر فروری یا وسط مارچ بہترین موسم ہے۔

Spring

February and March are the most successful months in spring. In the canal areas, late February or mid-March is the best time.

موسم برسات

جولائی اگست ستمبر، پت جھڑ پودوں مثلاً سیب، آڑو، آلوچہ، ناشپاتی ، شہتوت موسم سرما کے آخر اور موسم بہار کے شروع ہونے سے پہے چشمہ چڑھانا مفید ہے۔

Rainy season

July, August, September, deciduous plants such as apple, peach, plum, pear, mulberry are useful to prune at the end of winter and before the beginning of spring.

طریقہ

سٹاک کے پودے پر زمین سے 9انچ سے ایک فٹ کی بلندی پر تقریباً ایک انچ لمبائی ٹی نماکٹ دیا جاتا ہے۔ البتہ آم اور بیر کے پودوں میں یہ بلندی زمین سے 3 سے 4 فٹ رکھی جاتی ہے۔ کٹ دینے والی جگہ اور اس سطح سے پتے کاٹ دینا زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ کٹ یا شگاف کی گہرائی صرف اتنی ہونی چاہیے کہ نیچے لکڑی کو نقصان نہ پہنچے۔  اب اعلیٰ قسم کے پودے سے پیوندی پیوندی لکڑی لے کر ایک آنکھ اتاری جائے ۔ بڈکے ساتھ تقریبا ایک انچ چھلکا یا چھال بھی ہونی چاہیے۔

Method

A T-cut of about one inch length is made on the stock plant at a height of 9 inches to one foot from the ground. However, in mango and plum plants, this height is kept at 3 to 4 feet from the ground. It is better to cut the leaves from the place of cutting and from this level. The depth of the cut or crack should be just enough so that the wood below is not damaged. Now, take a grafted graft from a high-quality plant and remove one eye. There should be about one inch of peel or bark along with the bud.

بیر اور آم کے پودوں کی صورت میں چھال کی لمبائی ڈیڑھ سے دو انچ رکھی جاتی ہے۔ بعض پودوں میں چشمہ اتارتے وقت ساتھ تھوڑی سی لکڑی بھی رکھی جاتی ہے۔ خصوصاً کانٹے والے پودوں کی صورت میں لکڑی آنکھ یا چشمہ چڑھاتے وقت نہیں اتاری جاتی ، مثلا میٹھا، گریپ فروٹ بیروغیرہ۔ اب یہ چشمہ ٹی نما شگاف یا کٹ میں اوپر سے نیچے کی طرف داخل کر کے پیوست کر دیا جاتا ہے۔

Plum and Mango

In the case of plum and mango plants, the length of the bark is kept one and a half to two inches. In some plants, a little wood is also kept while removing the eye. Especially in the case of plants with thorns, the wood is not removed while attaching the eye or eye, for example, sweet, grapefruit, etc. Now this eye is inserted from top to bottom in the T-shaped crack or cut and attached.

چشمہ کی چھال

چشمہ داخل کرتے وقت خیال رہے کہ ٹی نما شکاف کی چھال دونوں طرف سے چشمہ کی چھال کے اوپر مکمل طور پر پیوست ہو جائے ۔ لیکن چشمہ ننگار ہے ۔ اب ٹی نماشگاف پرسن یارسی اس طرح باندھی جائے کہ آنکھ ننگی رہے۔ باندھتے وقت اس امر کا خیال رکھنا چاہیے کہ نہ تو ڈھیلا باندھا جائے اور نہ ہی زیادہ سخت ۔ یہ عمل جتنی جلد کیا جا سکے۔ بہتر ہے تا کہ چشمہ سوکھ نہ جائے ۔ جن علاقوں میں بارش زیادہ ہوتی ہے اور ہوا میں کی زیادہ ہو وہاں          کو الٹی شکل کا چشمہ بھی چڑھایا جاتا ہے۔

The bark of the spring

While inserting the spring, it should be taken care that the bark of the T-shaped slit should be completely attached to the bark of the spring on both sides. But the spring is naked. Now the T-shaped slit should be tied in such a way that the eye is naked. While tying, care should be taken that it should not be tied loose or too tight. This process should be done as soon as possible. It is better so that the spring does not dry out. In areas where there is a lot of rain and there is a lot of wind, an inverted spring is also attached.
