ماحول⇐ لفظ ماحول بہت وسیع معنوں میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ اس سے مراد طبعی یا جغرافیائی ماحول بھی ہے اور معاشرتی ثقافتی ماحول بھی۔ پھر یہ انفرادی پیمانے پر گھر اور خاندان کا ماحول بھی ہے اور مدرسے اور محلے کا بھی ۔ عام طور پر ماحول سے مراد وہ حالات ہیں جن کے تحت فرد پرورش پاتا ہے۔
