بچوں کے نفسیاتی مسائل سے آگاہی ہے ⇐معلمی کا کام دوسرے کاموں سے مختلف ہے۔ اس میں بچوں سے سابقہ پڑتا ہے۔ جب تک بچوں کی نفسیات اور اصول تدریس سے واقفیت نہ ہوگی اس وقت تک ان کی تعلیم بہتر اور مور نتائج کی حامل نہ ہوگی۔ دوسری وجہ یہ ہے کہ آج کے دور میں تحقیق و تجربات نے طلبہ کے مختلف نفسیاتی مسائل کی نشاندہی کی ہے۔

ان مسائل کو اس وقت حل کیا جا سکتا ہے جب معلم تدریس کے اصولوں سے واقف اور اس میں مہارت اور صلاحیت رکھتا ہو۔ بچوں کے بعض نفسیاتی تقاضے ایسے ہیں جو براہ راست تعلیم و تدریس پر اثر انداز ہوتے ہیں۔ اگر ان تقاضوں کی طرف توجہ نہ دی جائے تو نہ صرف طلبہ کی تعلیم متاثر ہوتی ہے بلکہ معاشرے میں بہتر افراد بھی پیدا نہ ہو سکیں گے لیکن بچوں کے نفسیاتی تقاضوں کی آسودگی کا مناسب خیال صرف تربیت یافتہ اساتذہ ہی کر سکتے ہیں۔ تربیت اساتذہ صرف اسی وقت مفید و کار آمد ہو سکتی ہے جب اس سے متعلق مندرجہ ذیل باتوں کا خیال رکھا جائے ۔

If these needs are not paid attention to, not only the education of the students is affected but also better individuals will not be able to be produced in the society. Who believe that this profession is the profession of prophets and messengers and above all, who have complete faith in their own philosophy of life.
